Tasting Notes: Cherry & Spice
A lovely bouquet, showing dark cherry with a hint of vanilla and spice. The palate follows a theme of cherry, fresh stawberries, plum and a hint of cinnamon spice. This 2011 Pinot Noir is very soft and juicy, ready to enjoy now.
Background Information: The freshly released 2011 6J’s Pinot Noir has a large portion of Red Hill fruit in the mix. It is made by our good friend Rohan Little who does not own any property on the Peninsula but has strong connections to buy excellent contract fruit. Not having the huge overheads in owning expensive Peninsula property helps in keeping the price down for us.
