Tasting Notes: The Shiraz has lovely floral aromas, courtesy of a dollop of white Viognier in the wine. It shows up other Heathcote Shiraz at double the price, reference below where James Halliday believes it is a steal for $18.
Background Information: Fruit for this wine comes off 100% estate owned fruit and made by winemaker Ben Rankin. Why camelback, we don’t know but it sure is a well made wine.
James Halliday wrote this last year about it. "Crimson-purple, a powerful and highly focused shiraz at a giveaway price. Red and black berry fruits are interwined with fine tannins, good length and balance".
