Spicy aromas with a briary edge are followed by a mouthful of dark berry fruit; there is a generous rustic warmth and noticeable spicy oak to the finish.
Background Information: The popularity of the Adelaide Hills Tempranillo last year was extraordinary as we were sold out, even though this grape variety is not exactly on the tip of everybody’s tongues. This newcomer from New South Wales is similar in style as well as young and vibrant (cheeky), showing obvious oak and a traditional rustic edge. In a nutshell, it is another great example of this trendy Spanish grape.
