Tasting Notes: Strawberry & toffee
This demi-sec sparkling is made from the Pinot Noir grape. Its deep pink in colour, with aromas of wild strawberries and freshly baked biscuits. The palate is creamy and fresh, loaded up with strawberry flavours along with a touch of toffee.
Background Information: This is produced using the ‘traditional method’ of making sparkling wine and sourced from a property which knows a thing or two about making good bubbles. Previously this has only been sold through the winery’s busy cellar door.
The Cuvee Riche is not too sweet. This is the most seductive sparkling we’ve offered since the 2001 Mornington Peninsula Sparkling Blanc de Noir, way back in 2004. If the gorgeous colour doesn’t get you, the wild strawberries will.
