The nose is all grapefruit and melon and the palate shows white peach, melon and a hint of cinnamon.

Background Information: This comes from a single vineyard, estate owned site in the Dixons Creek sub region of the Yarra Valley. It is normally pitched, out in the marketplace at just under $20 a bottle. It is one of these newly styled Chardonnays hitting the shelves, that are given minimal new oak, but extended lees contact. This allows the fruit to shine through and the lees contact adds extra funky characters.
