Tasting Notes: Cut Apple & Pear
This has an explosive fruit salad freshness with a touch of cinnamon. The palate is equally as vibrant, with ample cut apple, pear and vanilla. It is softly creamy and the finish is citrussy and dry. It’s not a big Chardonnay at all, tending more to a fruit driven style with a smidge of oak integration.

Background Information: The wine is sourced from the Gould family, who has been sourcing wine for us for all of the 10 years we have been in business. The head of the family is Mal & Marg, with Mal overseeing all of the day to day business and Marg being chief taster. Ben is a well known and respected winemaker in the region. Daniel doesn’t like being inside so he was always destined to be out and about looking after the vines. The odd one out is Leah who is based in Perth not working in the wine industry, though she has worked in many Margaret River cellar doors.
