Background Information: Recently Winestate magazine tasted 105 different Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from the 2007 vintage in their March to April edition. Only 4 were given 5 Stars, including the Clifford Bay.
This is what they wrote : Awatere Valley wine with rich, ripe, tropical fruit aromas and flavours. Notably fresh and intense, with concentrated, vibrant, sweet-fruit characters and a long, mouth-wateringly crisp finish.
